Lizzy Simpson is a graphic designer, illustrator, and painter living and working in Nashville, TN. After graduating from Middle Tennessee State University, Lizzy majored in graphic design with a BFA in August 2022. Along with receiving a BFA in graphic design, she also completed a focus in painting.

Born and raised in Chattanooga TN, there was always the opportunity to be outdoors. Nature has always been an inspiration for all of her work -- digital or traditional. Her love for nature coincides with her passion for color. Working in multiple colors is something that can be found in all of her work. Combining strength as well as elegance is something Lizzy strives for in her work. There can also be a bit of humor every now and then, subtly hidden in words and images.

Experience in editorial and book layout design, short motion illustration, and social media posts
Two projects selected to be in a juried show at MTSU.
Experience in layout design on a number of pages for the Ready to Learn series and for their new upcoming word search book. There was also the opportunity to add original illustrations to their Ready to Learn series.. Along with editorial design, animations and posts were specially made for their social media.
Hired as a sales associate in June of 2020, then promoted to a sales lead in January 2021. Responsibilities included opening and closing the store, acting as head manager when needed, & designing and organizing floor spaces.
A digital illustration was made specifically for the release of the EP "Frustrated" by Bradley Bynum.
Member of the Nashville division, as well as the student group at Middle Tennessee State University.
